Summer 7’s Twilight Comp

Summer Football incorporates a revised format of ‘the game’ with either a competitive or social environment. Summer Football will be played as a 7 v 7 format inclusive of the goalkeeper.

Match duration
· U12 – U16 Two 15 minute halves.
· U17 and older Two 20 minute halves.

Rules:
7v7 including the goalkeeper.

No Offside, no throw in, no corners.

Kick-ins [No throw-ins]. Goals cannot be scored directly from a kick-in.

Unlimited interchange. It has to be a dead ball.

All free kicks are indirect.

Keepers release from the hand or off the ground.

No slide tackles. First slide tackle will be a yellow card then a 2nd slide tackle by the same player will warrant a 2nd yellow card, thus a red card.

20 mins half for seniors with a 2 minute half time.

15 mins half for juniors with a 2 minute half time.

All defending players must stand 5m from the ball for any restart of play.

A restart from a goal kick (by a Goalkeeper or Field Player) must not cross the half way line on the full. If the ball lands in the opposition half, a free kick will be awarded to the opposing team from the half way line.

Registration
Registration Process:


Team Reservation is the first step of the registration process – email football@newlambtonfc.com.

Complete team list will be forwarded to your nominated captain.

Individual registration via the online portal. You will be advised by your captain when the step is ready to be undertaken.

Your team captain will be your contact point and will be responsible for sharing all relevant information with his or her team.

Team Reservation Fee – $100 to secure the team’s spot in a competition.

The player registration fee per player is as follows:

  1. Senior Registered $140

  2. Other Senior $180

  3. Junior Registered $100

  4. Other Junior $120

There are NO MATCH FEES.

Only registered players are permitted to play. All players must be registered with the team they intend to play in, prior to the game in which they intend to play, to be eligible to play. A registered player is one who has paid, in full, the registration fee. The team sheet will be generated from the registration system and only players who appear in the database can play for a team.
