Closed – New Lambton FC NL1 2020 EOI

New Lambton FC is currently accepting Expressions of Interest for current and new players to return or join the largest and most diverse football family in NNSW for the 2020 Northern League 1 season.

With ages in the second tier of Premier football now aligned to NPL competitions in 2020,  this fits perfectly to the ambitions of the club as part of our staged development journey into NPL football which started in 2017.

This also means we need to review our squads. Positions are available in the following ages;

U13s, 14s, 15s, 16s, 18s Northern League 1 – Youth Squads

We are excited that club legend and Life Member Jim Foley has accepted the role of Director of Coaching at the helm of our revolutionary newly created Football Department to steer our club and mentor our Coaches toward further success in all Youth and Senior grades of male and female football.

We are in the midst of also finalising the appointment of a fantastic new Technical Director to work within the football club to steer the direction of our Mens and Womens Premier programs and our Developing Eagles.

At The Eagles, our club has always been about acceptance at all levels for boys and girls to play the beautiful game and this is evident in the teams and competitions that we provide opportunities in.

Our development programs lead the way locally from U8s Developing Eagles to our Premier teams.

With success in all NL1 ages over the last few years, ( testament to the programs that we provide), we have elected not to hold open trials year to year.

We instead identify the current players who are returning and invite new players to post season sessions to ascertain a mutually beneficial opportunity for player and club into the next phase of an individuals football development.

New players and their families become new friends very quickly.

With grand plans for the future and 102 years young, if you think The Eagles are for you, and you want to join a program that is managed by one of  the most successful Coaches in Youth and Senior football in this region, please reply below with details.

Please note that given the number of positions available, and our faith in our development systems to date (that sees existing players retained where suitable), we will reply only to those who look to fit the needs of each squad to join the post season sessions.

Final squads will be assembled quickly with pre season commencing in November.

If you’re interested in joining New Lambton FC’s 2020 NL1 teams, please fill in the EOI form, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible and feel free to contact Head of Football Operations Chris Brain on 0414974649 for more details.

NLFC vs CHFC Gala Day, 2019

Dear NLFC players, family and friends,

We are looking forward to the trial gala days this Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April against Cooks Hill FC. As per tradition, this event is an opportunity to raise money for a charity.

This Year’s Charity is:

John Hunter Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Unit

In Australia, one in 2,500 babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis, that’s one every four days. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) primarily affects the lungs and digestive system and there is currently no cure. From birth, a person with CF undergoes constant medical treatments and physiotherapy.

At John Hunter Children’s Hospital a regular outpatient clinic is provided for patients with cystic fibrosis. The clinic is multidisciplinary and incorporates respiratory specialists, clinical nurse consultants, physiotherapists and dietitians. Home based services are also provided.

How do I Donate?

We are asking for a gold coin donation from all players on the day for this worthy cause. If you would like to donate more please feel free!

Please pass all donations to your team coach/manager this weekend at the Trial match.

Team managers/coaches – please collect the money from your players and hand to the volunteers at the grounds with the collection buckets.

On the day there will also be collection buckets set up at the canteen and BBQs at each of the grounds.

We thank you in advance for your generosity, and wish you the best for the 2019 season!
